A recruiting poster for Haller’s Blue Army. The Blue Army was made up of Polish expatriates fighting with the French on the Western Front. Approximately 60,000 men served in Haller’s Army during the Great War. Most were former POWs from the German army. Around 23,000 Polish-Americans also joined. This poster is aimed at the Polish diaspora in the United States.
